Something a lot of students and guardians forget when searching for college funding is their employer. A lot of companies, schools and organizations offer some form of tuition remission for dependents of their employees.
Definitely talk to your parents or guardians and ask them to find out if their employer offers any kind of post-secondary educational funding. A lot of the larger ones do!
A great example of this is John's Hopkins University, who offers various forms of tuition reimbursement to employees and their dependents.
Another example can be found in Unions. There are all kinds of them: teachers, steamfitters, you name it. And there are also organizations that unions belong to, like Union Plus, who happens to offer a Scholarship for students of working member families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education.
